Two Years ago, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. During this time, she went under a series of chemotherapy treatments which resulted in her total loss of hair. Of course, the first priority and concern was for her total recovery; however, the fact that she had just lost 16 inches of thick, blonde hair, seemingly overnight, was devastating.

As a veteran hairstylist of over 20 years, I would challenge myself with new ideas for products having to do with the beauty industry. I had been creating a new look for temporary hair extensions when I found our that Laura, my sister-in-law, had been diagnosed.

I sat down at my sewing machine and went to work for three days straight. The result was a confident and beaming Laura, wearing a tangerine colored scarf with long blonde hair underneath.

As well as getting her hair and confidence back, Laura also got her life back. She is currently cancer-free.
